The Bandanna Bonemill

Understanding the hell that Olive and his family are going through, YHC was much obliged to take on the suggestion from Moses to wear bandannas in Olive's honor for MMM.  As the PAX began to show and pull  their bandannas from their pockets and kettle bells from their trunks, I thought how much this would warm Olive's heart to see.  What the PAX wasn't ready for was the Bonemill.

THANG

  • PAX form a circle with KBs out front.  Exercises are all in cadence except for KB Swings.  As one exercise completes, the PAX rotate clockwise to the next KB.  A single pair of PAX leave the circle.  One farmer carries his KB and his partners KB clockwise around the whole parking lot at 131.  Partner 2 runs counter-clockwise until the meet and flapjack until they return to the Bonemill.  Then the next pair repeats.  All of this happens as the Bonemill continues and alternates lower body and upper body movements.  This is a followed for a grueling 40 minutes.

MOLESKIN

The Bonemill is a WIB YHC developed for Samson.  It was originally to simlulate the rat race of life.  Never seeming to stop and showing that from time to time a man must walk alone to gain perspective before returning to the rat race.

In this version, YHC modified it to show not only the above, but also that whether a man decided to walk alone or not, he should know that a brother is coming to get him and bare his burdens with him.

Olive, we are here to support you.  We will never be able to bare the load you are carrying, my brother.  We can however walk along side you and carry you when you cannot carry yourself.  We love you, bro.

  • Moses, thanks for the bandanna idea.  Always spot on what is needed.  (even when you call me out for losing control of this menagerie)
  • S'Mores and Shaken I giggle inside every time you guys get after each other.  Please don't ever stop.
