The dawn of the Quadpeato

0530 – We all decided the gloom was a little thick this am. Great thing no one could see me grimace as the Merkins added up. Sometimes the gloom is a good thing! We started out with a slow mosey in the parking lot until we got to the far end away from the church as the crowd was a bit unruly to begin. Somehow, the disclaimer got worked in, honest Moses! Thankfully, the first quadpeato put an end to that. It took Blackbeard a minute to figure out why we began with 19 reps and went from there. We started with 19 SSH, hit it hard with 10 Merkins, 19 ISP’s and 10 Broccoli pickers. Repeato except the second time, we picked spinach. As we started to partner up, the 2nd F began.

Time for our blocks and 19 curls, 19 shoulder presses and 19 skull crushers with partner 1 running, probably a bit too far…

Switch off and repeato with partner 2.

Switch off and repeat with partner 1.

Switch off and repeat…

You get the idea. IT WAS A QUADPEATO! As usual, our man Gnarly Goat coined the term which seemed to stick throughout the time spent.

Put back our block friends. Next, run to the school with a seat in the people’s chair with partner 2 and a few air presses, jazz hands and shoulder something. Partner 1 runs around the circle we begin again as:

Switch off and repeat with partner 2.

Switch off and repeat with partner 1.

Switch off and repeat… IT WAS A QUADPEATO! The Gnarly one gets all the credit!

Back to circle it up for

  • SSH x 19
  • Merkins x 10
  • Plank for 1 minute
  • Hand release Merkins x 10
  • Man maker Merkins x 10
  • And repeato (Makes the backblast easy)
  • NOT A QUADPEATO as the Q’S arms were smoked at this point

A short mosey back to the parking lot

A little MARY

  • LBC’s x 19
  • Low flutter x 19
  • J.Lo x 10
  • LBC’s x 19
  • Merkins x 10
  • A quick 3 minute stretch with downward Dog, runners pose into pigeon x2.

A little fog was fun and mumblechatter is always good on an early Tuesday in November. Got a good lather going early, Travolta peeling off layers and finishing every run in a sprint.(Show Off!)

Toxic givin’ it the old college try, If you ain’t cheatin’, you ain’t tryin’!

Oyster just trying hard to stagger the Q, it's really all about the focused concentration. Yea, right.

Terrific workout and fantastic way to start the day! Thankful to our Lord for allowing me the ability to lead a fantastic group of 14 HIM! Great turn-out and awesome 2nd F. Thank you all.
