7 PAX welcomed the storied Denver BRR team back from the battlefields of the Appalachian mountains. Their wounds had started to scab-over and we needed to start the long road back to full strength.
We wait on Dandelion, of course, who was running an hour, a few minutes late, and after he took out a fire hydrant and several small bushes parking his Tonka truck we were off.
We headed down to Covington down Camino de Muerte and then did a loop back and returned the same direction. Skipper was obviously still mentally fatigued from the BRR, as he totally misses the turn to Blades, until Vortex reminded him by throwing a sharp object at him repeatedly.
– Tommy Lee communicates that he'll be starting training for next year's Boston Marathon; Watch out Galen Rupp and Mo Farah!
– Dandelion should have been a monster truck driver
– A lot of under the table money exchanges went down prior to the run. Police are starting to pay attention to this as drug trafficking has been on the rise in our area.
– Jeeves makes a long-awaited return to the Fun Run and casually rocks a PR on Camino out
– Cheetah advertises that his Hurricane Party tomorrow will be an instant classic you won't want to miss
– Mulligan made the right choice today and joined us. He is getting serious about the upcoming Basin.
