7 men enjoyed the first nice Fall Fun Run of the season. With all the talk about protecting the 6 at SVU, I made sure that I did just that. To myself.
– We did 5.5 down McConnell, blasted the segment home, and I took the 6 the whole time. What a speedy group today.
– Cheetah "jogged" the McConnell segment and still beat everyone.
– A well rested Big V charged the segment as well, and to his credit, was the ONLY one that circled for the 6 on the way home.
– Fabio is looking ready for his half-marathon for sure
– Dandelion is a new man, blasting sub 8s with ease now that he doesn't have to stop every mile for a bathroom
– I guessed right on FNG Jordan's age, and he is FAST. He played nicely on the segment. Doubt that lasts long.
– GW toys with us all, starting the segment in the back and then casually trotting all the way to the front.
– Fastest Fun Run yet for sure. I hope to revert back to some slower, more fun paces next week. I did enjoy my time as the 6 though. Just the sound of my footsteps on the asphalt, seeing only as far as my headlamp will allow, enjoying the day the Lord has made.
