13 men warmed up on a chilly morning at the AO. About to set-out, we hear the harmonious roar of a V8 Tundra 2 miles out…..
– Dandy comes in hot, and late, with beanie cap on backwards
– Passing block island on the way out of the neighborhood we see a familiar white Ford go by, circle back for a very tardy Major Privates.
– Tommy Lee expressed that if he was ever that late to a run that he would just do a "On my own" run.
– 15 strong now, we did Governor's and Covington East route
– Dr. D and Mully hard committed to a full marathon at Oak Island fresh off of their half marathon efforts. Hard core!
– Mater expressed his desire to bring the Fun back into the Fun Run and to do a 10:30 pace which we obliged. For .10 miles
– Big V was marketing housing ideas for Oak Island. I hear Einhorn claimed the top bunk and has a local tattoo artist lined up for the occasion.
– We finally found someone willing to actually dress even darker than Gecko, as TL rocked a head to toe black ensemble
– Shirley gave us an in-depth, no holds barred look into how he readies the cockpit for takeoff. Deftly untangling his reflective vest with a precision that definitely exuded confidence.
– Strudel's stomach was back to normal. Although he still acts like he is eating sunflower seeds during the fun.
– Crabby Patty ran too far in front of me to hear any banter
– ShakeWeight said that the run was too easy, and said that he would HC for Sunday Runday
– Rudolph was cold
– I have spoken
