Good times to close out another successful year of running at THE Denver Friday Fun Run.  Weather: mid-30’s, dry.  We headed out the back of SVU, headed towards the boat launch and back, visiting a few side-shooters along the way.

• Boucher seems full of energy and springs; jumping ahead all morning and putting it in low gear waiting for the mortals.  We may need to see if Saucony has been adding cork in their souls lately.
• ClickBait gave it a good college try, but the IT band was barking a bit much.  Do what you need to rest up bud.  Wishing a healthier 2023 for you.
• Dr Doolittle continues to look thinner (or taller?) and possibly younger every time I see him.  He rocks the all yellow style like no other.  
• TommyLee stays in Zone 2 at 830-900, meaning he could eat peanut butter cookies and sing the Star Spangled Banner at the top of his lungs comfortably while running and keeping his heart rate under 100.
• We all were missing all the regulars…well most of them…  We assume we weren’t part of on the special text 8am holiday run or something.
• YHC offers to de-mystify the Mountain Creek trails for TommyLee and all other takers sometime this winter.  Largely very clear trail with pretty vistas of upper LKN and forest.  Suggesting dippy birds, Bonnie Blairs, suicides, and shorter trail runs as training. 

2022 was a year.  Largely good.  Some painful aspects for sure.  Some continuing opportunities for growth, no doubt. 

Prayers for all to have a meaningful and intentional 2023.  Intentionality doesn’t happen by accident.  Pray, make a plan, do the plan.
