A little trickery in the pre-blast about how beautiful the sunrise is over Bailey Road Park fooled no one given the cloudy and drizzly forecast on Friday. YHC still thrilled to be joined by 6 PAX who made a commitment to accelerate their 1st F. Blackbeard, Titan, and Omaha receive huge kudos and get credit for covering 6.5 miles while the remaining 4 stayed inside the park and covered 2 miles during a somewhat traditional bootcamp, merkin-heavy workout. Chilly Willy continues to go above and beyond and cranked out a 2 mile standard before the 7am scheduled workout. – awesome Chilly W.!
YHC always enjoys throwing nostalgic sports trivia softballs out there when Airstream is in attendance. Chilly Willy wins the award for correctly answer a very “bizarre” piece of sports trivia which won’t be noted here but definitely raised Primo’s eyebrows. This was one of those workouts that included a great dose of 2nd F throughout the entire morning as PAX covered 4 laps around the track while talking about the new move “Air”, why Steph Curry didn’t sign an endorsement deal with Nike, and another correctly answered piece of trivia by Airstream regarding Clyde Frazier, one of the first big NBA shoe endorsements between Frazier and Puma.
PAX did a healthy dose of dips, merkins, air squats and pull-ups throughout the 2+ miles traveled while mixing in a few mobility moments.
It was an exceptionally great morning and so proud to be a part of watching each and every man continuing to get better every day!
Humbly in Christ,
Possum
Yeah Chilly’s trivia question should go on the unspoken list! Great Q Possum
