and Deep Dish returning

We did some usual warming up which created some mumble chatter when the Pax were asked to perform the Windmill.  SSH, IST, MTN climbers helped get our juices flowing (in addition to some mouths) but the plank Jack surprised folks with something new.  We finished with Merkins and then hit the road for a slow mosey to Robbins Park.

At Robbins, we pulled a DORA with partners doing 250 Merkins and 250 W's.  Lots of mumble chatter, but good team work.  Some decided to break the two into several pieces.  Others manned up and banged them out as one.  We then performed a partner carry to midfield and back (flip flop).

In usual psychedelic manner, Hippie had the Pax do backward wheelbarrows.  This caused some "roll reversals."  Nothing that required a city ordinance thankfully.

Kid Rock led us back to home base the back way by the two ponds where we People Chaired to the big wall while we collected.  The Pax got the quiz correct and avoided Burpees (Boston Port Act was passed in response to what?  Boston Tea Party – kind of a softball).  Then we went "balls to wall" until the Pax guessed, "what country did the Soviet Union pull out of this date in 1946?"  Of course, I took the usual abuse (hey, weren't you there then?).  After several good guesses, Iran was correctly identified.  Of course, we set up shop quickly until the late 70's and the rest is, well, history.

Mosey to Mary for some Crunchy Frogs, Snake Eyes led "shoulder touch Merkins" and we wrapped  up with some elbow planks.

Mumble chatter clown car, while only two, provided plenty of background noise.  Great to see Deep Dish back at it.  Holiday gave a us great COT, reminding us of the importance of this day.  Let's set the example in big ways and small.  Great to such great numbers!  The Foundry did as well!
