What a great morning to test our endurance with a starting temperature of 62.  With a few pleasantries exchanged, 5:30 struck and off we went. 

Mosey over to the cinderblocks and circle up.

IST x 10

Grab a cinder block and Zamparini over to the school.  The theme for today’s beat down was a stacking routine in reps of 5, 10, 15, & 20. 

5 – Blockees; run lap down the hill and back up to your block.

5 – Blockees, 10 – Curls; run lap down the hill and back up to your block.

5 – Blockees, 10 – Curls, 15 – Squats with block; run lap down the hill and back up to your block.

5 – Blockees, 10 – Curls, 15 – Squats with block, 20 – Chest press run lap down the hill and back up to your block.

Zamparini about half way back towards the pull up bars and set your block down.  Mosey over to the pull up bars.  We are repeating the stacking routine with two sets of exercises per set.

5 – pull ups, run to your block, 20 – mericans, run back to pull up bars.

5 – pull ups, 10 – Dips, run to your block, 20 – mericans, 15 shoulder presses, run back to pull up bars.

5 – pull ups, 10 – Dips, 15 jump squats, run to your block, 20 – mericans, 15 shoulder presses, 10 – Block Swings, run back to pull up bars.

5 – pull ups, 10 – Dips, 15 jump squats, 20 – Lunges, run to your block, 20 – mericans, 15 shoulder presses, 10 – Block Swings, 5 – Blockees, run back to pull up bars.

Since we had some time left and we were at the GLADIATOR, we decided to work out to it.

G – Cliff hangers x 10 Run to your block and back

L – Lunges x 20 Run to your block and back

A – Americans x 20 Run to your block and back

D – Dry Docks x 20 Run to your block and back

I – Iron Mike’s x 20 (jump lunges) Run to your block and back

A – Americans x 20 Run to your block and back

T – Thrusters  x 10 Run to your block and back

O – Bent “O”ver Rows x 20 Run to your block and back

R – Russian Dips x 20 Run to your block and back

We only got to "T" before we ran out of time.

Put your block back and mosey back to the cars.

Recover, recover…

What a great group today and really pushed each other.  The music for today was a sort of Foo Fighters greatest hits.  The second set of exercises was a bit confusing and appreciate the heckling and pushing through it.  Kozar can flat out fly, Travolta was being Travolta out front.  Toxic was killing it and grumbling, much appreciated.  I think Ram Rod paces himself at the beginning because as the Pax was slowing down, he was flying!  Everyone was pushing hard today.  Thanks for coming out today, always good seeing some new faces.  If you haven’t Q’d recently, step up and sign up.  Thank you to Travolta for the opportunity.  Looking forward to seeing you all out in da gloom soon.
