FNG1-Hagas, FNG2-Bodett (outta Greensborough), FNG3-Wheelie (Goodell's 2.0) and the War Baby. The War Daddy was, predictably, Lear. This morning was marked likely the LARGEST gathering of men for #thestandard. Nymph and Crack ran, an others (Chief, Deep End, Hurdle, Brushless, Cupcake, Crack, Rentacop, Lear, Frosty, Shambala, FLG, Loveshack and Pressure Point) rucked PRIOR to the beatdown, impressive! Brushless and Nymph particiapted in #thestandard, then broke away to join their regularly scheduled program.
SUCH an impressive show of double downers, that the actual Q might seem a bit of an afterthought to the pax, but the show must go on. The Glen, offering its numerous apparati for painful pleasures, serves at the ideal locale for the Q to peruse the facilities for subsequent pain administration upon the all too expecting pax. The magnificence of the gathering in the dark, then emerging of the light, is always a remarkable experience during our hour of pain.
Warm-ups: Pledge (Lear led), playing of the National Anthem (Chief's hightech toys), Slow Deep Squats 10 IC, 1 Burpee, IST's 15 IC, 2 Burpees, SSH's 20 IC, 3 Burpees, CP's 10 IC, 4 Burpees, Mericans 10 IC, 5 Burpees, CDD's 10 IC, 6 Burpees, Hillbillies 15 IC, 7 Burpees, Mary Catherine's 10 each leg, 8 Burpees, WM's 10 IC, 9 Burpees. Mozy to wall by dugout hill, 10 Burpees to round out the warm-ups.
The Thang: Riverdances (as coined by Goodell) Step up on wall, raise opposite leg, tap wall with said leg on way back down. R/L alternating, 20 count IC, 10 each leg, Hand clap Mericans 10, Dips IC 10, quad up hill, crab back down. Riverdance 18, Handclaps 8, Dips IC 12, quad up hill, crab back down. Riverdance 16, Handclaps 6, Dips 14, quad up hill, crab back down, single leg squats (SLS) with back leg on the wall 10 IC each leg, 6 Handclaps, SLS 10 each leg. Mozy to middle parking lot, send Wheelie to scout 'lines' for us, he did a wonderful job.
COP-Incrementing jump squats, low/med/high IC 10. 1/4 turn jump squats 10 IC.
Partner up- Wheelbarrow walk with Mericans done at each line, 10 total. Switch and repeat. Mozy to playground-10 ground to bar pull-ups oyo, plank to wait. Mozy to rockpike, grab rock, line up along bottom of hill. Pyramids-12-10-8 each of curls, skull crushers, mil. presses with a quad up hill, 10 Mericans and run back down hill in between EACH exercise. The Mericans ostensibly got old. 21's at the finish to add that special little 'pump' to the bi's prior to returning the rocks, gather at bottom of hill below outfield fence of field #3. Bearcrawl up hill and touch fence, mozy to parking lot.
COP- Plank in tight circle, one runs around the entire cirlcle, jumping feet. About 4-5 made the cirlce, then…. OMAHA (would take too much time)-move to….
Mary- Low Flutter 20 IC, Freddie Mercs 15 IC. Recover, recover.
Moleskine:
-Senior Santiago was scheduled to Q today, but did not due to YHC's uexpected cancellation of a trip.
-FLG cursed the Q, when in the final circle, commented that the Q was 'imaginative' with the circle plank/running exercise, of course necessitating the Q to Omaha the exercise due to time constraints (and SEVERAL of the pax bellyaching about the post 'possibly' going past 8 AM, EST). We all learn more from our mistakes…..
-Thanks to Goodell, who coined Riverdance after he suggested the 'wall step up into a leg raise' move be named. #itmadethebb
-Mailman owns the Quote of the Day at The Glen, when doing hand clap Mericans on the wall commented, "I didn't think I could get the clap from a hummer" (as told by Cupcake)
-An agregious and completely unacceptable 'swearword' was hurled at Loveshack by YHC (a lifelong Eagles fan) regarding the Falcons, RIGHT NEXT to Wheelie (who is in 6tgh grade). YHC feels awful about the slip up, and compared the mistake to a spinal reflex when having to defend the Eagles. Some of us bleed green. Apologies were offered to Wheelie, Goodell, and Loveshack for the clear and obvious verbal foul.
-14 hitting #thestandard, 22 at the Post!! Gents, what an exceptional showing from y'all. Great job F3RCUSA!!
-It was decided, in the Panera line, that the Wheelbarrow Merican exercise might've been better to go 5 at a ttime, instead of 10……too much.
-Peter Parkers 10 IC were in there somewhere coupled with a plank, but YHC cannot recall exactly where those little babies were tucked away
-Chief's playing of the National Anthem was a touching start, KUDOS!
-Great to see Hagas again! Pressure point and Bodett round out our guests and MVP's for making The Glen great!
-The #1 seeded Eagles are NOT favored, at home, against a 6th seed Falcons, making it the first time in NFL history the conference champion has been an underdog in the divisional round. #disrespect #swearwordsmayflyifprovoked
-Gentlemen, thanks kindly for trusting your time with YHC for one hour today at The Glen!
