Looking for a changeup and thinking about how to support other AOs, Deep Dish and I said what they heck, let’s Q each other’s AO. As far as I know in the history of F3, this has never been done before (references: not researched – unverifiable).
Not listed – Lil Buddy (Skipper-MECA’s 2.0)
Warm Up
After some introductions I met Skipper MECA and immediately confused him with Denver’s Skipper, who by the way hit his 100th workout of the year last week (source <– real source)
We started precisely at 5:30 with a quick mosey around the theater, returning to the front of the building and meeting up with Omega + Bailey (dog) and Soprano + Rambo (2.0).
- SSH
- Windmill
- Squat-Imperial Storm Troopers (counted as; [1] squat down [2] up [3] right-elbow to raised left knee [4] left-elbow to raised right knee)
- This one was a little weird. None of us was coordinated or in sync with another. We probably looked like the crowd at a Phish concert.
- Carrot Puller
The Thang
Brief mosey to the East side of the building
- Peoples’ Chair with air presses
- Perfect `merkins
- Repeato
Brief mosey to the West side of the building
- Pickle Pounders
- Little Baby Crunches
- Repeato
Brief mosey to the Cranlyn/Formby intersection
- Monkey Humpers (with interruptions from speeding cars trying to get to their Clean Juice Bar workouts)
- Squats
- Repeato
Brief mosey to the fountain
- Dips
- Declined `merkins
- Repeato
Shuffle over to the theater’s entrance
- Lieutenant Dan (which I poorly described for the PAX and Kosar had to re-explain it for me)
- Sixes (normally would be 11’s but we had only 9 minutes until Mary was to begin)
- Perform 5 burpees, run to the other end of the entrance, perform 1 WWII sit-up. Run back to the other entrance and perform 4 burpees. Run back and do 2 WWII sit-ups. Each set must have 6 reps. Continue until you’ve hit 1 burpee and 5 WWII sit-ups.
Mary
- Roadie – Pretzel Crunch
- Omega – Heels to heaven
- Stapler – The W
- Kosar – Mason Twist
- Tupak – `merkin
- Tiramisou – box cutters
- Skipper MECA – Xs and Os
Moleskin
I had a great time Q-ing Hollywood today. Being the MQ at The Mighty Oak I don’t get out to other Wednesday workouts that often (or ever). Thanks Omega for taking us out in a prayer! Thanks Deep Dish!
