Foggy, pea soup gloom greeted the 5 F3 pax brave enough to tackle the February installment of the Horseshoe with a new twist – Rock exercises at the "lucky" end of each shoe.
The thang:
Jog straight to the rock pile and place a rock of your choosing at each end of the 'shoe
Commence Horseshoe with 20 reps of each exercise, add one at each end until the 5th lap & then drop a set ate each end until the 10th lap – 5 sets total, 100 reps.
Staggered Rock Mericans
Full Curls
Shoulder Press
Rock Squats
Skull Crushers
Return rock, jog back to the HT launch
Naked Man Moleskin:
1) Praying this morning for Peace, civil discourse, respect for our neighbors and in a special way for Beefcake's assistant Rosie who is undergoing breast cancer surgery this week.
2) Somewhat lively debate re: harder workout Vern vs. Horseshoe with Murph thrown in. Murph is less running, but the pullups tend to make most of us sore for days. For me, the hills make the Horsehoe worse than the Vern. I'd ask Moses, but since he doesn't do either one of them, it would just be a guess on his part
3) Beefcake brought Hollywood to the Vern as his first workout – Frienemies? You be the judge.
4) Hat trick gearing up for his Hawaii trip in approx. 13 days. He set a record today for most calories burned at an F3 workout since he has been tracking it. Your welcome!
5) Always great to see Callahan today in the gloom, but he was decidedly overdressed. Tights (with shorts of course, ahem Primo & Titan) and mock turtle undershirt were more clothes than todays weather required.
Honor and privilege as always to lead!
Aye,
Outlaw
