YHC took the Q and thought about Emmaus and what he remembered and didn’t remember. Then thought about memory. Then read about memory and how storytelling helps the memory.
0500 we are off
Mosey around parking lot for warmorama. Let the pax do their own standard fare. I mean it all rote by now (see what I did there). Whilst the pax warmed-o-rama’d, YHC told a story:
You and your buddy just walked from Jerusalem to Emmaus and now you continue on. It’s hot and arid and you two are exhausted and already a bit on edge given the events of the past three days and the traveler you encountered on the road. All of the sudden you hear something. As you turn you see a polar bear crawling across the desert. He is making a strange noise and you’d swear it sounded like he burped 10 times. But you keep going for your safety. To throw the bear off you decided to do the ministry of funny walks lunge walk. You look up to the horizon and see 10 mountains to climb. The ground appears to be moving but you soon realize it is covered with crabs walking over the desert sand so you get down on their backs and move with them. The crab bid you adieu as you continue on and as you struggle to stand up they offer you 10 helping hands (or claws). In front of you comes a herd of desert bunnies hopping down the road. You are so tired now walking doesn’t seem like an option so you ride your bicycle. That song is stuck in your head so you find yourself on stage singing kareoke to it. Oh no. The ground is so hot you can no longer keep your feet on the ground. You are flailing around to the music like Michael Flatly from Riverdance. Your buddy has had enough so he makes you walk the plank. When you reach the end you see former VP Al Gore in squat position with his arms out holding a plate full of flapjacks. You know you must return and get back to the safety of Emmaus…the same way in which you came
The pax then moseyed to the sidewalk/walkway/future greenway. There are 6 garden strips. Traverse each garden strip with an exercise as well as a unique exercises in between them. The story told the weinke.

Well done on both the workout and the 2nd/3rd F discussion. The BB is accurate but I’m going to have to review old Emmaus BBs to see if you ripped off the title from TP — it certainly sounds like a title he would use 😏
Actually forgot the Mary portion. Now it is correct.
And if you don’t fully remember TPs W then it wasn’t the most memorable 😉
And by W autocorrect really meant Q
