The Murph at The Monster Mile


As is the chosen custom on the final Monday of each month we pay respects to the late Lt. Murphy by performing his favored workout.

 

Warm o Rama: Not really, some people stretched a bit perhaps.

 

The Thang: The Murph. It’s a simple thing really. You should try it! Just a 1 mile run. Oh and some pull-ups, and some muricans, and oh yeah some squats (repeato ad-nauseam). And then another 1 mile run. That's all. Super fun time had by all I'm sure. Easy as 100, 200, 300. Too easy you say? Grab a 20 lb weight vest (Lt Murphy's choice implement) or go for the 30 lb ruck option like Comet and FLG did. 

 

Mary: Nope, unless a 1 mile run counts.
