I didn’t realize it at the time, but this was my last workout before joining the “respect” club.  Next Saturday, I will have turned 50. 😥

Next week is also Dads Camp weekend for many of you and I know you will all have a blast.  This will be the first time I have not gone since 2017.   I’m still expecting some strong numbers though for the workout at Mustang, so I’ll see the rest of you Saturday at Mustang. 👊

Mater warmed us up with SSH, IST, and stuff…  Then decided he didn’t want to Q, suddenly remembered he doesn’t like writing backblast. 🤣  So C# leads most of it with some input from the others as we go.

The far gate🚪to the track was open, so we go for it.  Clark begins his ruck journey, still healing from surgery, but putting in what work he can do.  Throughout our workout we see where Clark has been thanks to the wet grass.  

Mosey to the concrete stairs for a ladder, one hop, 1 LBC, 1 hop, 2LBC, 1 hop, 4 LBC, 1 hop, 8 LBC, 1 hop, 16 LBC, 1 hop 32 LBC, at the top we do 64 calf raises.  (We should have stretched better!, ouch).  Then we work the same ladder in reverse back down.  

We mosey 100 yards on the track straight away.  Stopping at the rock near concessions.  We do some variations of 5 more to get some arm work in.  We also threw in some rock rotating.  Then back down to the track where C# ask Mater to pick a lane, 1-8, he picks 7.  So we do 7 Squats, then mosey the curve for our first run-in with Clark.  He joins us in another 7 squats.  We mosey the straight away on the track, then head up into the slightly wet bleachers (Disclaimer again).  We run up, over, down, over, up, over ,down (figure 8), twice.  Then back to the track to mosey the curve back to the concrete steps area.  I believe we ran into Clark here again and did 7 more squats.  We then visit Diesel’s hill for 5 times: run down and touch the fence, back up for 5 LBC.

To the next gate🚪we find open near the scoreboard sign, so off we go to the big hill at the baseball fields.  Down and up for a few reps with an exercise at the top (I forgot what we did…)🤦‍♂️

Mosey back through “snake alley” around the outside of the fence to the pull up bars.  (Clark tracks are sighted here)  Everyone does a set of pull ups, how ever many they want to do.  Mosey back to launch pad.

Couple Mary exercises and we call it done.  C# will add a verse/reflection, was not ready at that time.  So here you go:

Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many.  For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.

Careful what paths/gates you take!  The right choice is not always the easy choice.
