The Pax showed up ready for a Cousin Eddie beatdown . . . only to have the rug pulled out from under them with a switcharoo to a Hollywood Q.
It was unplanned and unrepeatable. Mainly because I don't remember what we did. Some sort of burpee ladder but we did mix it up with an Airborne Mindbender in the middle. SSH's and Merkins (curb, regular, and wide). Squats were squatted (slow, regular, and one-legged). Some quadrophilia on a few hills mixed in with a bear crawl over the bridge. We even got in some dips.
The Q (i.e. Hollywood, that's me) was not dressed for the elements. Too many layers. Jersey Boy kept the mosey pace anything but slow. Moses started the mumble chatter at the beginning, but it faded as the burpees increased. Cousin Eddie put in 3 miles before we even started. And Bagboy was strong througout. Thanks for pushing me this morning fellas.
Prayers for Canuck: For his mom's funeral and the impacted family members, for one of his team members whose father-in-law has cancer, and for one of his high school friends whose mother passed away and he has Covid.
Also prayers for Jeff Kittle, a friend of mine who is currently in the hospital fighting a tumor.
Thanks for letting me lead this morning. It was an honor and a privilege.
