22 hard-chargers sallied forth in cool temps, clear skies, low humidity and under a full moon… perhaps the most perfect June gloom in F3LKN history to assume the position for the mission of Fission. Included in our midst were OG's and FNG's and one fit D-O-G. Here's ye olde thange:
Assume the front-leaning-rest position for muster, instruction and inspection, which included a full-throated disclaimer that employed the words "moisture" and "cracks" while describing a wide array of suburban neighborhood hazards and possible calamities, conflagrations and criticalities. With the legalities out of the way, we shoved off for points unknown (just ask Bagboy who roamed the neighborhood following the age-old advice of "They went that way!")
Mosey over and up to launch pad 39 for a warmup CoP:
SSH x 20
Old-man groaning windmills x 10
IST x 20
Invisible jump rope x 1 min
Hot mosey down the hill to the first bars for
10 x single leg squat, 10 x single leg squat, 10x double leg squat, 15 x reverkins
Hot mosey down the hill to second bars for 10 x calf raises each side
Hot mosey to goose turnpike fountain for 10 step-ups each leg
Hot mosey to the Airborne Intersection for something abdominal, followed by the Famous Airborne Mindbender
Hot mosey down the hill to the rock pile for a "Rock Your Neighbor" Rock Webb Ladder starting at 1:4 up to 6:24 and back down (crowd-pleaser)
Hot mosey backwards and with side shuffles up the hill and over to fountain
Box jumps at fountain or bench
Hot mosey back to lower bars for 10x calf raises again
Hot mosey backward and side shuffle back up the hill and back to parking lot
Circle up for Mary
Aussie with mason twists, Beetlejuice with Homer/Marge, Landline with long slow push-ups.
I guess I should also mention we did 30 Americans every 5 mins throughout our travels.

Ye olde Moleskine:
1. Welcome FNG Mick! I hope you are reading this and that you will continue to post with us. The workouts will not get easier. You will get stronger. Great job today on your first post. Only question is what Rocky reference will generate your nickname.
2. Right beside an FNG we had an O. G. with 'Bama amongst us. Aye!
3. It was fun doing the double dutch with Hat Trick during invisible jump rope. Like back in the hizzle fo shizzle.
4. Several pax for a 2.2 mile standard: BZ to Sauce, Mayhem, Aussie and Landline for the extra credit.
5. Bagboy slept in, and then went on a big adventure searching for the pax. His determination paid off as he found us on the back nine.
6. Thanks to Olive for plane-guard on the six. Also, Olive announced that OST will be leading a back-to-school supply drive. Be on the lookout for that and let's make it GINORMOUS.
7. Coffeteria was strong. The Fission pax are fairly certain that the Java pax are running into the woods and standing there for 42 minutes. Special Sauce gave me an extra shout-out for a Blue Brothers reference. We found out which of our pax worked in a video store. We wondered if the Oakhust residents appreciate our efforts to give them true metro living with noise at all hours. In short, we solved all the world's problems in about 25 mins. Next.
