The Rain Stopped and the Pain Started at Fission

At 5am, it seemed like it was going to be a pretty wet workout Q for YHC, but just in time, the rain stopped and Beetlejuice was standing outside my front door awaiting a mini-standard up to the AO.

In all, 9 PAX managed to roll out of bed for this one.  Here's what we did:

Mosey to launchpad

15xSSH IC

15xCotton Picker IC

15xToy Soldier IC

15xMountain Climber IC

The Q declared himself warm, and so we moseyed to the bars for 15xAustralian Pull-ups IC

Next set of bars, 15xAustralian Pull-ups Reverse Grip IC

Mosey to fountain and partner up for exercises with alternaing laps around the square:

200xIncline Mericans

200xStep-Ups (single count)

Mosey to gazebo, 200xLBC, alternating half laps from gazebo

10 Count conducted by Jersey Boy

Where did the time go???  Mosey back to 131 Main with stop at top of hill for 10xSquats IC

Mary under the covered area:

15xWW2 Situps IC

10xPretzel Crunch IC each leg

15xMason Twist IC

15xTouch Dem Heels

~30 second elbow plank

Moleskine:

  • Good group today — appreciate Beefcake, Landline, and Ninja Turtle making a partner of 3 — you always seem to have an odd number when you plan a partner workout
  • Landline noted at the end that he didn't think Beetle even broke a sweat — If Beetle did, he seems to wear it well
  • Jersey Boy learned the 10-count this morning.  Keep coming back and we will teach you something new each time!
  • Thanks to Beetle for taking us out and for all the guys for showing up today in less than ideal weather conditions.
  • Announcements: Dad's Camp, ALS support for C3PO this Saturday, ALS walk April 29

Until the next one…
