Though it's not technically an official AO, the participants in the weekly ("most" weeks) River Rat 10k should get backblast credit. 9 Lives started this trend a few weeks back and the idea has grown on me. YHC was, up until recently, sort of a stickler on the whole "It must be an official AO to warrant a backblast" idea, for reasons which are hard to explain but essentially because I'm OCD like that. *shrug*
I will ask the Comz Q to create a "River Rat 10k" workout tag for backblast purposes. Though YHC will not ask to make it an "Official AO" on the map given it really is an "Off the books" sort of event whose participation depends on PAX who want to run it. Hope that makes sense. It seems that "most" weeks there are PAX running this route on Satuday. If YHC had to guess, it might be in the 70-90% range, actually. (Range intentionally wide / vague; sorry)
In any case, the 4 men listed above set their alarms for 4 something AM on Saturday and got after some hard fought miles. The 2nd F was top notch and the effort was legit.
