Tryouts at The Varsity Were Held Today…
A beautiful full moon was out and two eager pax were awaiting instructions. I turned on the Tom Petty Pandora station to honor the late great Tom Petty and with Free Falling playing, off we went.
Warm-a-Rama:
Mosey behind Blythe Elementary

The Thang:
Mosey over to the rock pile at the end of the track on the bus parking lot of Blythe and pick a rock yo’ momma would be proud of. This is a “stacking” workout.
Run to bus spot 5 – do 5 burpees
Run to your rock – do 5 “rock” swings
Run to bus spot 10 – do 5 burpees, 10 ‘mericans
Run to your rock – do 5 “rock” swings, 10 shoulder presses
Run to bus spot 15 – do 5 burpees, 10 ‘mericans, 15 squats
Run to your rock – do 5 “rock” swings, 10 shoulder presses, 15 curls
Run to bus spot 20 – do 5 burpees, 10 ‘mericans, 15 squats, 20 Lunges
Run to your rock – do 5 “rock” swings, 10 shoulder presses, 15 curls, 20 chest presses
Run to bus spot 25 – do 5 burpees, 10 ‘mericans, 15 squats, 20 Lunges, 25 Bent over row
Run to your rock – do 5 “rock” swings, 10 shoulder presses, 15 curls, 20 chest presses, 25 LBC’s
Mosey over to the new school. Do 25 dips on the bench and run about 40 yards to the other end of the lot and do 25 squats
Repeat-o decreasing reps by 5 for a total of 5 rounds.
