This week marks the US Military exit of Afghanistan after 20 years. 20 years ago we drove out the Taliban and now we are allowing them to take over once more. Hopefully this is 2 steps forward and one step backwards instead of 1 step forward and 2 backwards. Lt. Michael P Murphy died June 28 2005 in Kunar Afghanistan as part of that mission.
This workout is named after Lt. Murphy with his favorite crossfit workout that he called "Body Armor". He did everything we did on this day as a routine. And he did it with a weight vest of 20 lbs and he did all 100 pull-ups before moving on to the 200 push-ups and all of those before 300 squats.

The entire PAX crushed the first mile. Somehow Shake Weight had enough left in the tank to obtain a 1 mile PR and did so on the 2nd mile.
Lots of good efforts and pushing of ourselves as our bodies became fatigued.
