Looking ahead to what might be…

The drive from Huntersville, NC to Scranton, PA, is easy enough.  Really nothing more than 77N to 81N.  10 hours in the right conditions.

Planting the F3 flag, of course, took longer.  But thanks in large part to leaders in Isotope and other regions, F3 has finally found it's way to YHC's hometown.

15-Dec-2021:  YHC drives with family to Scranton, PA, area.  Looking forward to tomorrow's beatdown, in an F3 region that hasn't been created yet, delivered by a PAX who has yet to be named.  Here is a vision of what might go down at 0530 the next day:

  • High knees around the parking lot.  After all, there is 8 inches of snow on the ground.
  • Mosey to the escalating pull-up bars for:
  • 1 time over the bars
  • 1 time over the side, i.e. "America Ninja Warrior"
  • Grab a cinder block and proceed to parking lot.
  • Push block across parking lot, side by side (to clear some snow)
  • Repeato on the way back, moving over 1 foot
  • Warm up the shoulders with:
  • Little baby arm circles (LBAC) forward x 10 IC (and keep arms at 90 degrees until told otherwise)
  • Overhead claps x 10 IC
  • Dirty Bird x 10 IC (downward claps)
  • Air presses x 10 IC
  • LBAC backwards x 10 IC, arms down

The Thing:

  • Split into 2 groups for:
  • Group 1:  Zamporini carry a 44 pound airplane tire across the newly "plowed" ground, and proceed back while
  • Group 2:  High knees to the pull-up bars, 10 pull-ups, high knees back
  • Flip flop and repeato with 5 pull-ups
  • Group 1:  CB swings x 25 OYO
  • Group 2:  High knees to the pull-up bars, 5 pull-ups, high knees back
  • Flip flop and repeato
  • Group 1:  25 bent over rows using 2 cinder blocks on a hockey stick
  • Group 2:  High knees to the pull-up bars, 5 burpees, high knees back
  • Flip flop and repeato but with 10 bent over rows and high knees half the distance and 5 burpees
  • Cinder block shoulder press x 10 IC
  • Skull crushers x 10 IC
  • Full curls x 10 IC
  • Return blocks and tires to forest

Mary:

  • 1 minute plank

Recover, recover.

Some of the PAX are guys YHC went to High School or College with.  But, most are guys I have not met.

They'll ask what Region I'm from.

I'll proudly tell them Isotope.  And that we always give it away.

Moleskin:

  1. This workout is not from the future.  This went down at Samson today.  And everyone put in hard work as expected.  But imagine the possibilities…
  2. 1 Year of F3 for YHC.  What an amazing thing we've got going here bros!  Thank you Lawn Dart and Rocket (Julio Cassell) for introducing me to F3.  And thank you Lawn Dart for the support today bro.
  3. Speaking of Lawn Dart, prayers that you are feeling better as I write this.
  4. Butter Knife, also in attendance, not registered on the website yet.  Great work today, you are already quite fit bud.
  5. Code Blue, hard worker as always.  Added bonus:  Stuck with Lawn Dart today and made sure all was well.
  6. Silver Bullet, if you happen to read this, thanks for the airplane tires.
  7. TBC, if you happen to read this, thanks for letting YHC take said tires from the old Thunderdome location to Samson.
  8. Limburger, thanks for the opportunity to lead and for all you do for the PAX.
  9. Isotope:  Thank you.  Can't even begin to express my gratitude for what we have going here.  What an exciting year, and how exciting is the future!  It's always an honor and a priviledge to get stronger and faster with all of you.

Very grateful.
