Three Shapes

The Pax gathered for a remedial geometry lesson, with emphasis on the triangle, circle, rectangle, line.

Warm-o-rama

* Cherry pickers (pax grateful to see this one back as Q-who-shall-not-be-named often breezes over this), windmill, SSH, TAC (tiny arm circles), mercans

The Thang

Mosey down the hill to the first shape: triangle. Different exercise at each vertex (!): mercans, LBC, Squats. 10 at each station, then 9, then 8….then 1. 

Mosey up the hill to the circle rock pile. Choose-your-boulder for: Curls, skull crushers, shoulder raise, overhead press. 

Mosey up to the front park for the next shape: rectangle. Four courners: Burpee, lunge, CDD, Leg raise. 5 at each station, then 4, then 3…then 1. 

Mosey back to base for Mary

Leg-up, box-cutters, WWII, some weird squat-hop-thing, mercans. 

Moleskin

  • Q releived to see Pax turnout despite not sending preblast. Okay, maybe not relief…
  • Q is surprisingly bad at email, despite spending entire working life at a computer
  • Apparently some willing to risk E.Coli exposure "it's clean enough". Various entirely unscientific thoughts on how quickly water is exchanged on the Catawba. Grip – a life jacket will not protect you from waterborne bacteria. 
  • If you're going before the "all clear", make sure your boat safety kit contains Cipro. 
  • Grass is surprisingly difficult to run through
  • Safe travels for all vacationers.
