AO

Beautiful crisp morning to get together and break in some new gear! 5 PAX showed their faces and were clearly excited to get going.

Warm Up

20 IC SSH

15 IC Windmills

Stretch out the hamstrings a little

20 IC Mountain Climbers

10 IC Merkins

Quadraphilia up LBH and do 10 burpees OYO then mosey to the back playground.

The Thang

Since Shirley destroyed Bertha last time I Q'd, I had to order a new sandbag. So I opted for the 120# GoRuck sandbag because they will fix it or replace it if you trash it. I only managed to get 96# of sand in it (need to get a different type of sand), but it proved sufficient for the days work. We did 3 minutes on of the following:

Zip Zag sandbags tosses

Kettlebell swing then throw (62# KB)

Squat launchers over the rails (30# slam ball)

Granny shots with a 20# slam ball

TTB

Trail run to loosen up.

Then we lined up and took turns throwing the sandbag like a bale of hay over the parallel bars – wasn't easy! Some went over, some under, some through, some just hung up on top. 96# sideways was fun.

Back to the grinder above with 2 minute sessions at each station.

Run to front with 8 minutes left for some volleyball. Keep the ball in the air or everyone does 5 brupees. I'm thinking we did about 40- 50 burpees real fast.

MoleSkin

Cheetah is no longer allowed to eat pizza….ever…I mean EVER

Shirley tried to break Lumpy, but not this time, not this time.

Dandelion and Strudel needed more weight in the sandbag for sure.

Reflection

Take no heed for the morrow – sufficient is the day unto the evil therein.

Let's remember to stay present. We can get lost in re-hashing the past in our minds, or having pretend conversations for the future over and over again. But here and now has plenty to deal with so lets be present, look to the Savior as our example, and impact the lives of those we love with attentiveness.

Always a pleasure!
