Top Heavy Anger

Event Date

Feb 10, 2021

FNG -1 was Oberon, FNG-2 was B.O.F.

Seven of MILF3’s finest came out to Muscle Beach to pump some iron and listen to really, really angry music.

Warm-o-Rama

SSH, TS, Windmill, Carrot Pickers

The Thang

Five rows of poorly scribed weighted exercises in chalk, three exercises per row, as follows:

  • 777 curls, Hammer curls with OH press, Squat curls

  • Scaption, Front row, Front raise to side raise and back

  • Skull crusher, Bendover rows, Tri extensions

  • Lunges, Bridge chest fly, Calf raises

  • W ups, Overhead pull crunches, Dying cockroach

We generally did 15 reps (except for 777’s and Calf raises), and did three different sets, with 10 reps on the last set

Moleskine

  • Any weighted workout by the Q always includes more than ample shoulder work. Therein lies the secret of why Q is so broad, physiologically speaking. Helpful suggestion by B.O.F. that we set up some rings for the Iron Cross next time

  • It’s just not a Muscle Beach workout without the El Tigre memorial OH pull crunches

  • The true point of no return in a pending retirement is when you no longer try and get any more work done, you instead just document the work that needs to be done

  • Veteran flight attendants don’t take no shat during pandemic flights. The pilot intercom chatter is a little less chatty these days tho

  • Anger is a gift. One of the best lyrics in the long and loud history of angry music

  • Calf raises were part of Natty’s rehab. Still scared to run tho

  • Veteran flight attendants don’t take no shat on pandemic flights. Pilot chatter is a lot less chatty these days tho

  • Squat curl posture may harken back to another bodily function

  • Not sure that some of the vocals we heard on the “Why You Angry Bro?” mixtape would lend itself to a long career since it won’t likely age well. They could sound like they are in need of a lozenge

  • We just did bricks on Saturday, so it was a little soon to bring it back into the rotation. They shall return at some point tho, count on it

  • It’s an honor and a privilege – Solid effort gents!
