As the title referenced, Firestone reached out to each of us to see if we wanted to Q. Naturally, we all said yes. We discussed it at Coffeteria and decided we would triplicate the Q. And, that was what happened.
Rocket lead off with the disclaimer & a mosey to get the blocks.

Rocket broke out his 4 workout dice, 3 with exercises, and 1 with reps or time duration.
We took turns with the dice and did the following:
Zamperini
Curls
Lunge Walks
WW2
Side Planks
Mountain Climbers
Leg Raises
Squats
After each exercise we ran a lap
Hand off to UM for the next 20 mins
Pull up ladder & Squats 10/1, 9/2, 8/3…
That was a smoker and shows why the Murph is such a tough workout. We did 55 pull-ups and squats, a far less amount than a full Murph, but enough to challenge the Pax
Line up for log work.
Side Log pass to the next Pax, who twists with the log and passes it on, until all Pax have had a chance and then reverse x 5 passes
Deadlift pass with the log to all Pax x 5 passes
Curl pass with the log to all Pax x 5 passes
Press pass with the log to all Pax x 5 passes
Run a lap and pass off to Toby for the final 20
10 burpees OYO from throwing the dice
PT/Mobility/Core work
Suzanne Summers
Pretzel Crunch
Glute Bridges
Cobbler/Frog crunches (a new and challenging core crusher)
Run back to the cars
Muhammad Ali
Moleskine
Toby arrived in style, screaming into the parking lot in the Fiero! Always awesome to see the Pontiac Supercar in the wild. Also, great we got to do some PT working on our glutes, the most underused muscle and frequently the cause of most leg injuries.
Rocket picked me up and we may or may not have planned our workout on the drive over (Narrator – they didn’t). He brought out the super dice and it was a good mix for the work today. Also, thank you for the coffee.
Baller had a slight glove issue, in that his gloves didn’t keep his hands warm, and he was feeling the logs, blocks, and bars. It didn’t deter him though – he crushed it, and then proceeded to share some amazing tales of that football game from last weekend. I want to be you when I grow up.
Chilly Willy educated us on BIC knowledge, as he was a former employee and had some good info to share. Charlotte is a hub for BIC and the pens and razors are shipped from here. Also, if you need to borrow a razor he is your guy as he has a lifetime supply of them.
Toxic was also asked to Q by FS. However, FS responded to him and let him know the Q was taken and he didn’t need to Q. So, even though I saw him last night walking our dogs, he was not accepting of my offer to make him a 4th Q. Strong no game.
Prayers for all the marriages, PAX caring for parents, and all the unspoken prayers out there.
Until next time when we SYITG
