Trivia question 3:  Which prominent politican was shot and killed on this date in 1968?  The Pax were correct for a 3rd time with Robert Kennedy.
Either the questions are too easy, or the Pax are showing their age…

Mosey to the theatre, grab some wall for People's Chair.

Trivia question 4:  What formerly popular movie viewing venue was first rolled out on this date in 1933?  The Pax were 4 for 4 answering correctly with the Drive In movie.  For an additional bit of trivia, YHC revealed he had snuck into the Sky Hi drive in to see Escape from New York, Blood Beach, and Gas.  Quite the triple feature!  Kingfish inquired whether that was legal or not,
but I'm pretty sure the statute of limitations has long since passed.

Mosey to rock pile.  Partner up and grab a rock.

Trivia question 5:  Which former swimmer and actress died on this date in 2013?  Hint:  she was really old.  This one stumped the Pax, as the correct answer was Esther Williams.
I commented that she went to high school with Hippie, but was corrected that he actually was few years ahead of her…10 Turkish get ups was the penalty for the wrong answer.

Round 1:  Partner 1 rock curls, Partner 2 runs down to street light and back. Flip flop to 100 reps total.
Round 2:  Parnter 1 Skull Crushers, Parnter 2 runs down to street light and back.  Flip flop to 100 reps total.  Merkins OYO while waiting for the 6.

Trivia question 6:  Which battle was fought on this day in 1942.  Hint: a TV movie was made about it starring Charleton Heston and Henry Fonda.  The Pax were stumped again, as the answer was of course The Battle of Midway.  20 WWII sit up as a penalty.

Put the rocks back and Mosey to start for Mary.

Last trivia question:  On this day in 1972, Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars album was released, launching who's career?  The Pax were quick to hop on this with the correct answer of David Bowie.  Well done!

Mary:  10 Shoulder Touch Merkins courtesy of Snake Eyes.  Recover, Recover.

A little light on the merkins today, but went heavier on the running.  We'll make up for it next time.

The mumblechatter started early as YHC was the target of several comments about my new looking shoes.  Ruby slippers, emerald shoes, shiny and bright, and several similar comments were made before we even launched.  Thanks to Kingfish for leading here…I guess I'll stick to black and gray going forward.

We ran into Hippie at coffeteria.  I told him about the Esther Williams comment and promptly blamed it on Kingfish… felt I owed it him.  🙂

Code Blue's 2.0 Stripes was present (and had a strong showing), but is not on the list.

Continued prayers for my friend Tom, who is still in hospice.  His family is hurting and the thoughts and prayers are needed.

Thanks to the Pax for a great workout, and for the opportunity to lead.

June and July are wide open.  Need Q's, so please step up.  Let me know and I'll get you on the calendar.
