FNG-1 = Wegmans (F3 Fort Mill)
Having just returned from a weekend in Daytona, YHC was caught without a plan at 11am on #TacoTuesday. I late #pb'd to the pax that I'd be heading to good ol' Tru Taco (aka Zen Taco) in Overstreet Mall, and BOOM, got an HC right away from Jaws, who is an absolute fiend for tacos.
Squiggy then indicated that he might make it, but would be coming in hot from a call.
Noon came, and Jaws and YHC met and jumped in the Tru Taco line. A couple minutes later, Squiggy appeared, and #TacoTuesday was ON. 10 mins later, YHC spotted Wegmans in the line, and he was soon seated at our table.
The Recap:
- TClaps to Wegmans, who was fresh off his F3 mission trip to Chimbote, Peru. Sounded like it was an awesome experience. Any pax who are interested in future mission trips, reach out to Wegmans or any of the other pax who made the trip for info. The pax came from all over, including F3 Houston.
- Despite the long days and hard work in Peru, Wegmans was feeling fresh after getting a serious power sleep in following re-entry.
- YHC is ready for a power sleep after that delicious Tru Taco meal.
- Jaws is ready to HC for a marathon. Don't know when it is going to happen, but it is going to happen!
- Wegmans rode to Chimbote from Lima in a bus, but it wasn't a chickenbus. Jaws is familiar with the chickenbus and had pictures to prove it.
- YHC managed to pick the ideal Tacolocation for Squiggy, who was able to transition seamlessly from conference call to tacos and keep his taco attendance streak intact.
- YHC hit up Wegmans for some Q ideas, and Wegmans mentioned Al Gore Nightclubs. That will be making an appearance at an AO near you soon.
- Full disclosure, while Tru Taco does have tacos, YHC orders the burrito bowl nearly every time. I don't even feel bad about it. It's the right call at Tru Taco. So good. All of the pax went with bowls today, in fact, but I say it still counts.
YHC promises to be more prepared next week with the #TacoTuesday #pb. Cobains to any pax who didn't see the #pb this week or couldn't commit due to the late #pb.
