True Grit – Doing what we said we’d do

Add John Boy to the Pax list.

To quote the preblast "Plan on running off campus with pain stations."  One of the Pax even re-tweeted this to three of his cohorts.  The result was an uncommonly high number of 9 for the early Saturday workout.  However, it didn't seem that they all knew we would be running……any complaints fell on deaf ears.

The Workout:

Leave St. Mark and head through Birkdale neighborhood and back through the MaCauley neighborhood with various stops along the way to regroup and fight back against any soccer arms.

Stop 1 at the Mighty Oak AO for SSH x 15, Derkins x 15, Box (Ball) Jumps x 10

Stop 2 at back entrance to Birkdale for LBC x 15, Man Maker Merkins x 15

Stop 3 at #3 tee box for Squats x 15 and Diamond Merkins x 15

Stop 4 somewhere in MaCauley for Low Flutter x 15 and Wide Merkins x 15

Stop 5 outside MaCauley for Cack-a-Lack-a Choo-Choo

Finish up back at St.Mark for COT.  Total miles covered 4.25.

Moleskin:

  • Sorry for the confusion on bootcamp vs running, but it was out there.  Will try to mix in a little running every few weeks.  Might want to put some blame on Kid Rock.
  • Happy Birthday to M-16, finally out of the Hates.
  • Pony Boy's first time to True Grit.  Glad to have you and glad that foot is healed.
  • John Boy, glad you're making it back out.  Looking good.
  • Bily Bob just keeps pounding away, good work
  • Skipper, Gnarly Goat and The Geek had this one covered.  I think The Geek was holding back as he went on to double down at Mighty Jungle.

An honor and privilege to be part of this group.
