Five hard-chargers sallied forth for a heaping helping of #truegrits this morning.  Here was the gritty thang:

Circle up for muster, instruction and inspection.  10 x 'mericans and 10 x low flutter… repeat every 5 minutes throughout the beatdown.

Mosey 'round the block, charge into men's group as they were leaving the chapel, then head on up to the fountain of youth for CoP.

11 x windmill

22 x IST

22 x mountain climbers

10 x trunk rotations

Commence the "Hub and Spoke"

First spoke to bars for pull-ups, chin-ups, commando-ups, and toe-ups.

Back to hub. Stretch.

Next spoke was to the back wall for a bounce-back squat ladder up to 10.

Back to hub. Stretch.

Next spoke was to blocks for shrugs, presses, squats.

Back to hub. Stretch.

Next spoke was for Block Webbs (1:4 ratio up to 5:20 and back down)… crowd pleaser.

Back to hub. Stretch.

Next spoke was lunge walk down colonnade and bear crawl other colonnade.

Back to hub. Stretch.

Ye Olde Grit-skin:

1.  Well, THE Geek pulled some kind of jedi mind-trick on me today and took over the workout without me knowing it and the next thing I knew we were all doing the Airborne Mindbender… but he still brought the pain.

2.  I encouraged everyone to DBAP right in front of the church… not sure if that's allowed.  The pax were aghast.

3.  Chinny and YHC ruminated on the good ol' days in Newport.  That's as fine a place as any… I bet it's 60 degrees there this morning.

4.  Nice work gents!!  Thanks for helping me kick off my 22nd anniversary today! I'm a blessed guy all the way around.
