Two Sets of Four

Three pax got up super early for a 5 o'clock standard (Tantrum, Amen, YHC).  Some ladies were gathering to run the track BEFORE most of the F3 guys were even awake.  One guy got up to join the beat down, but thought it would be more fun to just run on the track with some females…er, uh, his hand was too injured for a bootcamp (Freedom). Two others ventured from Davidson, I think (FNG-1=Apache, FNG-2=Johnny Utah)?  When the count was administered, there were 14 total.  Here is their story…

The standard runners returned to the parking lot to see a good gaggle forming near the cars.  Time was running short, so I called a 90-second warning and some semblance of a disclaimer.  Then, we got after it.

Mosey to the bottom of the parking lot to give a straggler or two a chance to catch up for a warmorama:

SSH x24ic

IST x10ic

Carrot Pullers x24ic

Mericans x4ic, Mericans x4ic

Squats x4ic, Squats x4ic

Arm Circles OYO

The pax were getting confused on the significance of 24 reps or 2 sets of 4 (the date is 2/4 btw), so we moved on to the main event.

Mosey to the playgound circle.  Half the pax does 10 pull ups, the other half does 10 dips and a lap around the circle.  Flip Flop, Repeato with 8 reps, 6 reps, 4 reps, 2 reps.  Go to the shelter for people's chair when finished til everyone catches up.

Quadriphelia Indian Run to the loading docks for some wall work.  One pax at a time runs to the railing for some plank walks across the railing then returns while everyone else does the following exercises.

NY, NY x10ic (People's Chair, extend one leg and touch heel to the ground, return leg and switch legs)

Hip Slappers x10ic

Heel Touches x10ic

Sweet Carolina Dry Docks x5ic (Dry Docks with feet on the wall)

Mosey to the hill by the track to pick up Freedom and do some 11s:

Bottom of the hill: 10 LBCs (it was getting too easy so we switched to WW2 Sit Ups when we got to 5)

Top of the hill: 1 Jump Squat, 2 Jump Squats, 3 Jump Squats…

NO ONE IS FINISHED UNTIL EVERYONE IS FINISHED

Mosey back to the parking lot for some MARY:

Pretzyl Crunch x4ic, both sides

Low Flutter x24ic

Dying Cockroach x4 ic, Repeato

100s

Shoulder Touch Mericans (thanks  to Snake Eyes)

MOLESKIN:

-Thanks to Dingo and Eeyore for making the "trek" southwest.  I hope it was worth the extra 1-2 minutes of driving for you 😉

-Great to see a lot of faces I haven't seen in a while this morning (my fault, completely).  Looking forward to seeing you all again on a regular basis.

-The Standard run was actually enjoyable this morning.  Thanks Amen and Tantrum for the fellowship.  It was truly a 2ndF event.  Everyone else, come out and push yourself a little extra some time.

-Apache is a mumblechatter machine.  He gave Tantrum and The Force a run for their money this morning.
