Beautiful Saturday morning for some Ultimate football. After a brief warm-up of SSH, Mericans, and I think windmills, we split up by shirt color for some Ultimate Football. Played exactly like Ultimate Frisbee — but with a football instead, which tends to lead to more long plays and more scoring than Ultimate Frisbee. The scoring was important, for that's when the penalties were applied. The penalties rotated for the team after each time scored upon. They were:
1st Score: 10 Mericans
2nd Score: 10 Carolina Dry Docks
3rd Score: 5 Burpees
Repeat these three for subsequent scores
Moleskin:
– Final score was around 12-8, and a good effort all around
– Team black was on the better side of the scoreboard, and started taunting with monkey humpers after scores. Very intimidating.
– Too many burpees for Outlaw, so next time maybe more defense?
– Overall fun morning; We settled in for a little bit of Mary after, with some Homer to Marge, Rosalitas, Low Flutter, Freddie Mercuries, and LBCs. Maybe some others – can't remember for sure.
