Vern-esque at Viking

While the Vern is never really fun, we decided to test ourselves a little and break away from the typical rock or bench workout to take on an Isotope favorite – with some slight modifications. Here’s what we did:

short mosey in parking lot, then circle up for 10 IC: IST, hillbilly, toy soldier, long snapper, windmill, and slow squat.

mosey (or drive, in Jersey’s case) to back playground, where we started the Vern (AMRAP). Exercises (with a short run after each) were:

10 pull-ups 

15 Mericans

20 Squats

25 Dips

30 LBCs

Stretch a little on the picnic tables and mosey back to launch for round robin Mary:

Rosalia (mayhem), low flutter (hippie), Freddie mercury (Canuck), x and o (Jersey boy), Suzanne somers (waffle).

Moleskine:

– we got 3 full rounds in, which isn’t bad for a bunch of old folks
