It all started with 2 laps around the lot in front of DPK, laps in honor of The Force for running a solo standard.
We then grabbed our bells and made our way to the second-floor deck of the parking deck for warm-a-rama with SSH x 20, IST x 20, Dwight Schrute’s x 10, Windmill(s) x 10
Very simple format, yet very hard to follow instructions were given for the main event. One man runs either up the ramp or down the ramp performs an exercise and returns to the group, then the next man up does the same run / exercise until all pax complete the cycle, then the next man up decides the run / exercise and all follow suit. Meanwhile all pax in circle take turns calling exercises. Took awhile for all pax to complete the “follow suit” part, so for round 2 – pax broke away in pairs, and for round 3 – pax went in groups of 3. By the end of the 45 mins we did a bunch of exercises that only Ken Jennings would be able to remember and document.
Was great to see Elmers at The Cauldron this week, and get to scoop on his new e-Jeep
Also, great to see Soprano join in time for the main event and hear that Burgoo recently hit a respectful milestone
AOL was first on the scene this morning and ready to roll
Rocket didn’t appreciate the amount of creativity the Q put into this workout (YHC did skip the “I am not a professional, don't expect creativity…” disclaimer)
Amen introduced the pax to the 8 count J.Lo – walking the J.Lo
It was Ultraman’s 2.0’s birthday, so he nailed the workout and got busy getting breakfast
Toxic was in good spirits knowing the Buckeyes would take care of business this weekend
The Force was also in good spirits, once again headed out of town living like a no kids in the nest rock star
Amen took us out with a prayer, well said as always. And, Thank You TF for the opportunity to lead this fine group.
