reflection:  Proverbs 22:3
"A prudent and far-sighted man sees the evil of sin and hides himself from it.
But the naive continue on and are punished by suffering the consequences of sin."
– are you prudent is what should be done and intentional about doing it?
– are you far-sighted?  Do you see 'down the road'?  Do you understand your purpose?
– hiding yourself from sin.  not letting it find you.  protecting yourself.  putting barriers and protections in place
– are you naive?  just living life moment to moment without recognizing risks and consequences?
– when you recognize a temptation or opportunity to sin, do you just 'continue on,' or do you see sin for what it is and DECIDE to protect yourself and your family
– who wants to be punished and suffer consequences?  yah, nobody.  there WILL be consequences.  You're not really smart enough, brave enough, or sneaky enough.  There will be consequences.
– For me, I've always had a love/hate relationship with my phone, usually taming the beast inside.  But, not always.  It's a risk for me.  It's a risk for my relationship with my wife.  It's a risk.  I've managed pretty good, but I'm done being naive about this risk.
– Today, I asked the guys to turn on my phone's screen restrictions, with THEIR password.  In the past, I've asked my wife to do it, but it's not her responsibility to take care of it.  Thanks guys for helping me out…and Thanks Strudel for your ATM passcode  HAHAHA
– I see the evil, and I'm hiding myself from it.
– What's your thing?  What're you doing about it?  What can we as brothers do to support and help you?  Just ask.  We got your back.

moleskine:
– mostly sprinkled into the bb above
– great to see Skipper on his would-be taper week!! sounds like he was pretty beat up and needed an easy workout to start.  heh-heh, sorry, no easy workouts here bruh.
– Anvil and Strudel mentioned last week's workout a couple times.  90# sandbag carries.  Several times.  OUch!  Skipper exclaims, "90#?  That's about what I weigh!!"  Exaggeration aside, it was pretty funny.  Next time, hopefully there isn't a local 5k, and we'll be happy to be part of the sandbag gang.
– Thanks for letting me test out some new ab exercises.  Grateful you guys didn't make TOO much fun of me for my indecision on some of the counting.  I deserved it, and was having some oxygen depravation moments.

Thanks for the opportunity to lead fellas.
Great work today
