As it was April Fools Day, we started out by donning Hawaiian leis, just in case we didn’t look ridiculous enough heaving rocks and doing bizarre exercises that would make the 1962 pledge class of the Delta Tau Chi cringe.
We did a bunch of hard exercises. I was sore the next day, so that’s a good sign. We ran a couple of miles and did over 1,000 reps.
A ring-of-man COT and some apropos words from Moses wrapped up the shenanigans.
We then went to Good Drip in Davidson for coffee and crap talking . Boar Hog, as usual when he’s on hiatus from work, had nowhere else to go, so we wound up staying until 10-:30am solving some of the world’s most pressing problems. We contemplated the effects of AI and I got a movie recommendation from Boar Hog (Triangle of Sadness) that was one of the weirdest films I’ve ever seen, but I still loved it.
Thanks for attending, gentleman (and Boar Hog)! I was honored to lead such a fine group of hard-charging and hilarious mother effers.

Thanks for taking the lead, JB. My triceps are still sore…
Thx for taking the leadership JB! Sounds like a fun morning and wish I could have been there
