– This was my first time to be able to Q Dragon Slayer after bailing due to injury back in May. I wanted to add a little juice to this one, thus the prizes.
– Congrats to Hoodie for cleaning house! He dusted us all on the race, although Rooter and Bam Bam gave good chase. The trivia question was another story…everyone pretty much got the first part right out of the gate (Africa by Toto) but no one could get the cover band. After many, many hints (including the Easter Egg from the pre-blast) Hoodie finally named the band (Weezer). Gift cards to Total Wine and Starbucks.
– I was assessed a 10 burpee penalty for admitting to going to the Weezer concert next week. Bam Bam was assessed a 10 burpee penalty for admitting he owned the Toto cassette.
– No mumblechatter on my 90’s playlist, but Zuul took us out on a monster ab routine that spanned the entire guitar solo of Pearl Jam’s Alive into Alice and Chain’s Would. I think Zuul was the only one whose feet never touched the ground.
– Did not mention this during the COT, but when I went to pick up the Starbucks card the only choices were “Happy Birthday” and “Hugs”. I picked “Hugs”. Quien es el mas macho? Yo soy…yo soy.
