We Did Not Do 25 Burpees

6 men arose to gather in below freezing temperatures with the promise that 'we will not do 25 burpees'……and to get stronger.  26 degrees at 5:30 to be exact.  No matter, all put in the work on Thanksgiving Eve.

Reflection

Hefty & YHC went to Race City on Saturday for the Chicken Little Convergence. 144 PAX attended. It was a great workout where The Chicken Little (above) was born.  The Q's and closest PAX to him spoke about him and all of us got to know CL a bit (he was a beast and always wore a smile). All those men were there because of the F3 Brotherhood.  The hard reality is there were 144 people there that Chicken Little could have spoken to about what he was going through and he still felt like he had no other option but to take his own life.  We all have things going on in our lives that we may keep buried, may be uncomfortable, ashamed or embarrassed to share, but there needs to be an outlet.  As uncomfortable as it may be to bring up, there are F3 brothers here to listen. And be sure to check in on someone who you haven't seen in a while!

MC:

  • Sparrow just hit his 3 year F3 anniversay, congrats buddy!
  • Marker reminisced about how he was sitting in his car when Sparrow showed up and knocked on his car window and asked if he was in the right place.
  • Even Mully admitted the burpees were too much today as the only thing he does 25 per day of is eat snacks
  • Travolta gave Iron Horse a hip check while moseying back to the launch pad, he almost went down the hill, weighted vest and all!

Pleasure to lead.  Namaste, Bertha
