Didn't have my phone, so couldn't record da Pax today…and besides, do we record names in Davidson anyway? Not even sure I'm breaking Davidson rules by posting back blasts, but I will anyway! Great job by all men this morning. They came this morning to a new face as da Q, and YHC debuted my Q skillzzz (which pale in comparison to others) for the first time in Davidson, besides the other AO here which i Q'd a few weeks back – The River Monster (0530 Mondays). So the Pax really had no idea what to expect from this "new" Davidsonite so here's what they got:
Warmorama: mosey to DUMC, SSH X 50IC. At 25 i said we were half way there….I heard a few "ughs…seriously…."
Da Thang:
- Descending curb crawl – I let the Pax know, in Huntersville I needed a good way to kill the mumblechatter early, and based on the tone and sighs heard during this out of the gate exercise, they can see why it would shut the crowd up early. Apparently other Q's in Davidson have caught on to this gem of an exercise based on the Pax saying…"so you're the one who brought this to the other Q's who have been doing this lately…thanks a lot…"

- Zamporinis while describing F3 names – this is one of my favorites now! It's amazing what you learn about your fellow F3ers in a short period of time (Baby Ruth – manages a pool company, DMV – waited a long time during COT to get named, Catish – grew up in Mississippi and had a beard when first starting F3, etc.).

- Balls to the wall X too many minutes. YHC's signal to call it quits is when pax starts falling / collapsing. I'd say we went around 1:30.

Moleskin
- If you've ever been the recipient of one of my Q's there is one common theme you will notice, I like to use the entire AO. Perhaps it's my personality or something, but staying in one spot is of less interest to me. Perhaps it reminds me of my gym days where i was confined and claustorphobic.
- Pax did a great job today! One thing I've noticed in Davidson now is there are some speed demons up here! The sprints are always a true test for anyone, and a great way to get your body's HR up, and then bring it back down when doing another excercise.
- Someone said, "i might need the pain lab after this…." The Pain lab is not to create pain, it's to help those in pain. My job as Q – DONE! #paincreated
- A great group of men here in Davidson, and while the mumblechatter is minimal, the fellowship and kindness is not lacking in the least bit!
- Louis Z's with the F3 nameorama is a great way to gain an even better understanding of who your fellow Pax are. Great to learn more about you all (since I am just getting to know all of you) today.
I appreciate the opportunity to Q, and look forward to many more Q's in the future in this great town of Davidson!
