Today 5 PAX had to share the track at HalfLife with some walkers and other runners. We simply out-worked and out-sprinted everyone else, strong work by all. Here's what went down:
0500: Standard run with Lex and YHC, although we missed each other by about a minute it seems
0530: Forgot disclaimer! Sorry. Here's what we did:
- 1 mile warm-up
- 800 meters at about 5k pace
- 400 meter recovery pace
- 400 meters fast
- 200 m recovery
- 200 fast
- 200 recovery
- 1 mile fast
- 800 recovery
- 800 fast
- 400 recovery
- 400 fast
- 200 recovery
- 200 fast
- Recovery run until time called
Recover, recover. Everyone ran about 5 miles or more, and with the Standard total distance was 8.28 miles according to my Garmin. Link below:

Moleskin:
- YHC saw this guy on the track at 5:10, almost said "Hey Catfish!" Lucky I didn't because it wasn't him, it was a couple who were walking / running together. The real Catfish showed up on time, and dominated today.
- Jenny noted how speedy the speed walker was, but he dusted every non F3 person on the track as well.
- Professor is on a short list of PAX who can hang with Lex for 200 meters. Believe they threw down something like 31 seconds on the last iteration, fast!
- That same list gets much smaller when we're talking about 800 or 1600 meters. Lex, you are a beast brother! Thanks for pushing everyone today.
- Thank you Kumquat for the opportunity to lead today.
Fine group today, and really strong work. Hope to see you all soon.
