*** Gotta make it to the moleskin to understand the title of the BB.
A classic #Luda post is timed tempo intervals on the track. It allows every pax the opportunity to give it their all or give it their whatever.
0530 we should role but what if AM-PM shows
0531:45 we roll to track
0531:46 right on schedule AM-PM rolls in

- t-claps to Drebin who rucked today. He walked the warm up with yhc but then mostly did the tempo/recovery runs with ruck.
- AM-PM and Vandelay appeared to be working with a different set of gears than the rest of us were equipped with. Strong stuff.
- Up until 0529:58 it appeared Mulligan was going to be the only one fully running today. Glad he got some company.
- Strong work by Chilly Willy to push it a bit to get the crud from a cold out of his lungs but also do it in moderation so as not to have a setback. Sounds simple but that is some mental toughness most of us don’t have.
- So the title of the backblast. Get your mind out of the gutter. We are not that kind of club. YHC was driving out of the parking and neglected turn on his lights. Vandelay was behind me and flashed his lights just as I was approaching exiting the lot. Message received, and I turned them on before leaving the parking lot. That’s “watching the six”. Thanks brother.
- What I learned today: I am trying to focus on positivity this year. So I have been reflecting on that for a bit. To quote the great philosopher Taylor Swift “it’s me, hi, I’m the problem, it’s me.” So today I was extra observant of other people. Do they struggle with how easy it is to just make a negative statement, complaint, or sarcastic comment? What I experienced was 5 other pax talking about holidays, family, health, and life without complaint, offering encouragement and genuine positivity. So be like Drebin, Chilly Willy, Mulligan, AM-PM, and Vandelay — live a life that cultivates positivity and goodness and walk the walk that the rest of us need to see demonstrated.
