12 Pax showed up for an belated send off to 2018 and a welcoming party of 2019. Our story goes like this.
Etch and LaBon did their standard. Mosey over to the Caboose, because why wouldn't you. When you can workout next to a Caboose, that is what you do…
Warm-a-rama:
25 – SSH
10 – IST
10 – Cotton Picker
10 – Windmill
10 – Toy Soldiers
The Thang:
The send off of 2018:
100 – Shoulder Taps, run a lap
100 – Rocky Balboas, run a lap
100 – LBC's, run a lap
65 – Squats, run a lap
365 reps completed. Mosey over to Vermillion to the nicely lit covered area. Since it's playoff football time and since the Bears haven't been to the playoffs since 2010, I thought it would be fitting to celebrate the 12 – 4 Bears. Do 12 exercises at the top of the hill under the covered area and then run down to the bottom of the hill/street and do 4 burpees. I hate burpees and I hate to see the Bears lose.
12 – 'Dercans, run to the bottom and do 4 – burpees (run back up the hill to the covered area)
12 – Incline 'Mercans, run to the bottom and do 4 – burpees (run back up the hill to the covered area)
12 – 'Mercans, run to the bottom and do 4 – burpees (run back up the hill to the covered area)
12 – CDD's, run to the bottom and do 4 – burpees (run back up the hill to the covered area)
12 – Diamond 'Mercans, run to the bottom and do 4 – burpees (run back up the hill to the covered area)
Catch your breath… Mosey back to the Caboose. Here is where we welcome 2019. We do the 4 sets, this time without the lap as we are running short on time.
2019:
100 – Seal Clap SSH's
100 – Rocky Balboa's
100 – Low Flutters
65 – Lunges
Mosey back to the cars. Recover, recover…
Moleskin:
Thanks for the push out there today. Everyone was getting after it. That hill at Vermillion is an equalizer. What perfect weather and way to start a new year. Great to see the McCauly crew (most of them at least) venture away from their standard Wednesday AO. Thanks Etch and LaBon for making your way out. Olive and Fescue were getting after it as always. Bunyan must have the foutain of youth in his backyard. I can't seem to break him. Rooter and Fillmore were killing it today. Ty Webb came out of hybernation, hopefully he'll continue to post with us LKN'ers every now and then. Baller and Qbert were out front most of the day. Solid work by all. Hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did. Hope to see all out soon.
