The Thang:

Q had set up 8 stations, 2 exercises at each station.

At each station, pax did 10 reps of each exercise, followed by a brief rest, then 10 more reps of each exercise at that same station, so a total of 40 reps at each station.

Stations:

  1.  Squats / Rows – 60lb sandbag
  2.  Fly / Bent Fly – 15lb dumbbells
  3.  Clean Chop Press / Bent Row – 40lb sandbag
  4.  Front Raise / Man Maker Merkin – 10lb dumbbell
  5.  Curls / Lawnmowers – 30lb or 25lb dumbbells
  6.  Clean Press / Shoulder Press – 30lb kettlebells
  7.  Curl Press Crush / Deadlift Row – 45 or 55 lb kettlebells
  8.  Leg -Raised Crunch Press / Leg- Raised Alternating Dumbbell Press – 35lb kettlebells

Pax did 1st round as stated above with 40 reps at each station

Pax did 2nd round with just 10 reps of each exercise (20 reps at each station)

Moleskin:

  • Twas a damp day, raining with a forecast of 0% chance of rain,  so Q chose to bring Muscle beach into the Gazebo.   That way the guns could be on film with the cameras and lights in there. 
  • Turns out writing the workout exercises on napkins wasn't the best plan for fans in the gazebo…
  • Schwinn was very quiet coming in as the workout was getting started, just like a "student who is tardy to class, wanted to be under the radar", lol!
  • Solid push by all today,  320 reps the first round, 160 the second, 480 total reps.  Solid Gents!
  • Studly Surf "rucked" to the workout today with a 60lb sandbag from his house.  Had to burn a few extra calories there!
  • It was an honor men!
