Wet Field – Slow, Heavy Work

We had a good rain on Monday night, so I was pleasantly surprised to find 7 PAX waiting for me when I arrived at Richard Barry Park.  That excitement quickly Wayneed, when the complaining started about the wet surfaces, so we switched the winky from the fast and light model two the slow and heavy model.

Warmup

  • Lap around the parking lot
  • 40x SSH
  • 15x Toy Soldier
  • 15x Imperial storm trooper
  • 10x Long snapper
  • 10x slow windmill
  • 10x calf raises

THE THANG

we started at one end line.

  • 10x curls
  • zamporini to the 18 line
  • 10x skull crushers 
  • zamporini to midfield
  • 10x weighted squats
  • zamporini to the opposite 18 line
  • 10x OHPs
  • zamporini to the end line
  • 10x curls

repeated 2 more times for good measure.

with all of the mumble chatter about the wet fields, we moved to the covered area for Weighted Mary and a mobility moment.

as everyone left, they admitted the slow heavy was harder than expected.
