Day two of YHC’s commitment to the Pax’s fitness (and my own) landed us at the Viking. With so much competition on Tuesday, I had little idea who would show other than Cousin Eddie who HC’d the night before…and he stuck to his word! Yet another day of rain (of course because the Vern was going on) but at least the temps were in the 40’s. And after what we did…the rain would be refreshing.
The Fab 5 of us got after it and it went a little something like this…

Wait what? No Side Straddle Hops? Is this a sanctioned F3 workout? Don’t fear. They are coming.
Gather to beginning of track.

As is custom, burpees usually need to be done on one’s birthday. And today…I did not disappoint although the initial grumblings were heard loud and clear.
YHC partnered with the MQ Fescue
Stapler, Jersey Boy and an inspired Cousin Eddie tri’d up.
Partner 1 broad jump burpee around track while Partner 2 did 30 Side Straddle Hops.
Catch up to partner, flip flop, rinse and repeat until we make it all the way around the track.
Boy that was fun doing burpees in the puddles. And man…Cousin Eddie has the hops!
Mosey to covered area and take a seat to catch breath for a brief moment. Okay, that’s enough.

Appreciate these guys for coming out even though I warned the Pax that this would be awful.
Continued prayers for Schneider’s family.
Prayers for Mya, a young girl who recently lost her Father.
A lot of work and effort by the Pax today. Not much chatter but definitely some heavy breathing.
Apparently YHC’s festival of lunges healed a hurt groin of Cousin Eddie as he was leading the way in air time.
Thanks for the partnership and work today to Fescue.
Stapler and Jersey Boy, always a pleasure to share the gloom with you fine folks.
Tomorrow at Mad Sci the 4th annual running of YHC’s #WIB Daytona!
Enjoyed it boys (maybe not)
