When you take requests, you get anything from Monkey Humpers to Free Bird!

Kaiser (visiting MacBeth), John Boy also in attendance

With no plan but 12 eager followers, Waffle House gathered the troops and set off on a tour of Oakhurst.  Our tour began in the Cork & Cask parking lot for some warm-o-rama, including side straddle hop, IST, toy soldier, and cotton pickers (all x15 IC).

After finding a safe exit from the lot, the unstructructured troop headed down Willow Leaf, with high knees, butt kickers, and backwards running along the way, stopping once for 10 squats in cadence.  Continuing on Willow Leaf, we stopped at the low corner of Willow Leaf and Bailey for 10 'Mericans IC, then across the street and up Delmas (lunging part way), stopping at the corner of Delmas and Oakhurst for 10 hand release 'mericans IC.  At the next stop sign (Ruffner and Delmas), we did 10 Carolina dry docks IC, then traveled to the rock pile further up Ruffner for curls, shoulder press, skull crushers, rock squats, bent over rows, and more curls.   Rocks back — on we went up Ruffner, sans Ludi who took off for home.  We stopped at the corner of Ruffner and Watoga for some much needed LBCs (20 IC) and Moses-requested Monkey Humpers (20 IC).  We found a rail on Glavine, where we did 10 Australian pull-ups IC, and again Moses-requested single leg squats (10 IC each leg).  Back at the corner of Kanawha and Oakhurst, 10 shoulder touch 'mericans IC and 10 partner curls each arm (in teams of 3).  Realizing the time  was 6:05, we turned back for home base, with some bear crawls, WW2 sit ups, and Mericans along the way.  Short Mary, with Primo leading low dollies, followed by a ~20 sec elbow plank.  Recover Recover.

There was some question about whether or not the Q would show up, given lack of activity on Twitter the night before — we got a new puppy, and he tries to chew my phone whenever I use it — so Twitter activity was delayed quite a bit.  Thanks to Titan for getting the preblast out!

Good group today — Hat Trick was 30 sec late, but he made up for it with good chatter and a solid performance throughout.  Also nice that MacBeth brought is friend Kaiser, who posts when in town annually.

Some concerns about the brevity of my disclaimer, but we all made it back in one piece, so no potential lawsuits that I can foresee.

I said I was taking requests, and though Moses was the only one with requested exercises, I did also hear a request for Free Bird.  I don't think there is an exercise for that, and, trust me, you don't want to hear me sing!

Overall, we travelled just over 2 miles on the day.

Moses took us out, and there were several prayer requests — a friend of Titan, a friend of Jersey Boy, and Canuck, who is having heart surgery this morning.

Thanks everyone — it was a good time this morning!
