AO

A solid workout today, everyone worked hard and because YHC needs to be in better shape and doesn’t like calling cadence, we let a phone tell us what to do.  A Tuesday Tabata!  (of course we had some classic rock as well).

30 seconds on, 15 seconds of rest.  A total of 32 exercises, ranging from Burpees to curls to squats and everything in between.

We had a little extra time, so we wandered over to the picnic table for some step-up and dips, then returned our blocks for 7 minutes of Mary – ending a minute early.  You’re welcome.

We learned a lot about local government today – thank you to Gambini for keeping us informed.

What exactly did we learn?   The mayor of Huntersville is Christy Brinkley …. wait, that’s not right.  Christy Clark!!!  Mayor of Huntersville

What else?   The proposed Red Line (train service from Charlotte up to Mooresville) is a topic of conversation that Gambin has an opinion or two about.   I don’t think he likes it – something about higher taxes for a line that will never become a reality (yet the taxes will be there forever).  We actually learned a lot more, but you really need to hear it for yourself!!  Come on out and ask him

We also learned that Gambini is in pretty good shape – we did 30 seconds of Burpees at one point, during which he was still talking about local government and when we finished the Burpees he said something to the effect of “are we done already – that went by really fast”.

Thanks to Marker for joining us from the west side of the lake!

And sign up to Q at Fallout!!  Lots of room on the calendar.

Finally, YHC needs to learn how to turn off the flash on his phone when recording a video.  How to Vote on the Red Line proposal
