Warm up was a standard with I believe the whole crew other than Big M & I, props for the initiative!
Q led warmup was side straddle hops, imperial storm troopers, Auto led windmills, and mountain climbers.
The Thang:
We moved a bit closer to the 90s and possibly 80’s rock music that had the place bumpin’ and we quickly reviewed the prime time workout. Spread across the parking lot from the entrance to the playground we would do 5 exercises spaced out as we made the journal from the entrance to the playground. After completing a round run all the way back to the start and begin a new round with the lessor prime number. We started at 17, then 13, 11, 7, 5, 3, & 2. Burpees, squats, merkins, WWII sit-ups and pull ups. So 58 of each exercise in total and about 2.5 mi of running. We all finished, some earlier than others…um…Pillager, Auto, Omega. This made me realize the original PrimeTime workout started at 19 as not many finished. Starting at 17 felt right today but maybe next time we go for it. I didn’t pre announce the workout as it doesn’t seem to be everyone’s favorite but somehow Turncoat figured it out and posted the perfect Deon Sanders gif so props to him. Thanks for showing and the push fellas. 9 Lives and Big Montana kept me distracted with deep questions like, why are prime numbers important, what made them so special.
Until next time…Dingo
