Yin and Yang @ Jason’s Deli

Event Date

Aug 03, 2018

9-Lives and Lawn Dart seemed interested this morning when I asked about #2ndF lunch option. To make them happy, I preblasted a noon meetup at Jason’s Deli. Ramrod and Duvall both “liked” my tweet. About an hour later, Hacker asked if there were any plans for lunch via Slack and suggested Jason’s Deli. I thought he was being clever and called him on it, but he claims he never saw the PB and came up with the idea all on his own.

When I arrived shortly after noon, Hacker was getting a table and MiniMe was filling his salad plate. The two guys that seemed interested in the morning had apparently lost interest by the afternoon. The guys who had liked the post apparently didn’t like eating in public. Hacker felt obliged to attend since technically he issued the PB, and MiniMe. Well, I think he just wanted to chat about his terrible Q at Mighty Jungle last week. That and the free ice cream.

The yin and yang? That’s in reference to MiniMe’s decision to eat clean at the salad bar for lunch and follow it up with not one, but TWO trips to the soft serve machine. At least only one cone was harmed in the making of his meal today.

MOLESKIN

• Can we get a ruling on the use of the “like” icon on Twitter? I would think that would infer an HC. Or is that more like when a guy opts to fartsack on a Saturday morning, but then goes out for donuts and honks at the rest of us as he drives by the AO?

• Why a back blast? Well for the Ironhorse Challenge of course. Those in attendance today knocked out one of their 12 #2ndF events required by the end of October. Now you’re wishing you joined us, huh? There’s always next Friday.
