You Can’t Always Get What You Want….But If You Try Sometimes, You Sweat Your B…s Off…..

17 strong (the above plus Marshall, Cinderella, Certa, Sea Biscuit and Heister) embarked to the track for yet another Rolling Stones inspired workout.

Stretching in front of Chambers, one of few places the Stones have not performed.

Run to track-  Stairway to Seven right out of the chute.  Meat and Potatoes. 1-7 burpees, incline pushup, run to top, squats.  Always sucks.

Moonlight Mile (classic)

Lap 1- Keith Richards- 5 burpees at each quarter turn.  No one volunteered to smoke a cigarette while running.

Lap 2- Ron Wood- 10 merkins at each quarter turn.

Lap 3- Charlie Watts (drummer for the uninitiated)- 15 WWII situps at each quarter turn.

Lap 4- Mick- my hero.  5 burpees, 10 merkins, 10 WWII situps at each quarter turn.  Brutal.

In tribute to the 1989 Steelers Wheel tour at RFK in DC where Mick climbed a 10 story (at least) scaffolding to sing Sympathy for the Devil, we ran one last time to top of steps for 10 squats before sweatily returning to the Green.

COT- great job again by everyone.  I was in a horrible mood (it probably showed) as I had two scared dogs in my bed again during the rain storms last night, but a tough workout with some laughs was just what I needed (Cars reference).  Thank you.
